A New Willingness to Talk

This is a new client who is a survivor of sexual assault and child abuse. She is resilient and smart and a great artist.

I noticed that through art she opens up and is able to share her thoughts and feelings, she can be shy and it has improved her unwillingness to talk. I give her a safe space to express herself through art and she has been doing great so far.

We did the “Me Doll” activity and it was a fun way for the participant to express herself not knowing what she would come up with and it came out beautiful.
