Team Building & Staff Wellness

The Team Agreements workshop was conducted for the department staff, aimed at
strengthening team communication. The department’s leadership chose this workshop to enable
the team to collaboratively create agreements that would support one another. The staff
appreciated the safe space to discuss their strengths and needs and enjoyed the collaborative
creation process.

A key highlight from the workshop was how it improved our communication skills and the overall
collective engagement in creating agreements. Moving forward, I will facilitate an art workshop every quarter with our staff, focusing on team building and communication. It’s been great to experience how these workshops have proven beneficial not only for the youth we serve, but for the staff as well; as the art program allows everyone to use art as an expressive tool.
