Strength & Unity

We were traveling on a bus to DC with the Youth From Standing Rock, and we created touchstones to hold onto during the actions that would help ground them before they had to speak. Then we created some after to remember something that they learned that gave them courage and strength.

One of the participants shared “My touchstone helped me throughout the week. I carried it in my pocket and each time I touched it, I was reminded to remember who I was and what role I needed to play in that moment.
