Remembering Her Dad

I utilized a combination of the workshops Heart Stories and Intention Touchstones with a 7-year-old therapy client. This girl’s father died unexpectedly the week of Thanksgiving.

These are great workshops I was able to put a spin on and make suitable for this client’s circumstances. We utilized rocks instead of glass pebbles. She was able to create (with paint markers) an intention rock to keep with her to remind her that her father loves her and an intention rock to place at her father’s grave that provides him with the same message.

The young girl shared, “Now I will always remember my dad loved me. I’ll place it under the Christmas tree in my room so he can find it while he is in Heaven.”
