A Step in the Right Direction

This is from the workshop “Anger Volcano.” The participant is 11 years old. He has been at our shelter a few weeks and has had several anger outbursts.

During this workshop we discussed his anger and things that triggered him to lash out. He does not want to be at the shelter and wants to go live with his father. His father was very abusive to his mother, so he feels caught in the middle. He has several layers of trauma to unpack but this workshop was a step in the right direction for him.
