Priceless Gifts

This “Vision Seeds” video features Carl Mucha of Monterey County Rape Crisis Center in CA. A Windows Facilitator since 2024, Carl shares what is at the core of his journey as he embarks upon facilitating workshops for individuals living in juvenile detention. This work is part of a multi-year sector partnership with Just Detention International, called Rooted in Resilience and funded through the DOJ Office of Violence Against Women. This initiative will train & support 10 new Facilitators per year, for three years, to innovate transformative arts practices serving currently and formerly incarcerated survivors of trauma.
